Brian took a design class this quarter where they researched, designed, and built an everyday product. Brian suggested a baby bottle washer to his group of 20 year old students and his suggestion won out over things like a pull-up bar and a laptop cooler. They did a survey of moms to find out what features are important, did research on what is currently on the market, and then built a "proof of concept". Out of 15 groups, they won the "Most Marketable" design. They had professors and people from industry judging the entries and they won!!!!
Here is Jane, the inspiration for the winning design, and the poster.
Jane and the team that designed the bottle brush cleaner (sans a team member who was at the hospital with a newborn baby).
And here it the "proof of concept" version of the the bottle brush cleaner.
And just for good measure, a cute picture of Jane! :)
And another one showing off her new smile where she crunches up her nose. Loves it!!!
Congrats Daddy/Brian!
