Backyard redo

Brian has decided to tackle the backyard and we started this weekend. With the help of my parents and my sister (who helped babysit so I could actually help) and my nephew Keagan, we got things under way.  This is what it looked like at 9 AM on Saturday AM.

After an hour of tilling, they spread that huge pile of mulch from the tree trimmings all over the ground and tilled that again.

Keagan took a break to come inside and show Jane how to work his jigsaw.

We cut down a few trees in front too.  Jane wanted to watch, but we had to protect her ears from all the noise.

Keagan needed eye and ear protection since he was actually using the chipper!

This is what the backyard looked like at the end of the day Saturday  (now it has trenches for sprinklers)

We ended the evening with dinner al fresco since it was such a beautifully warm night.
